Effective marketing for nonprofits means knowing the lay of the land in the nonprofit world– the networks, leaders, resources, issues, demographics, economic outlook, and more. All of that is also true of marketing in the business world. But it’s different knowledge for a different landscape.
From the get-go, iRainmakers has taken nonprofit development beyond philanthropy and into the marketplace. A big part of our approach is bridging the nonprofit and business worlds – connecting the two for mutual benefit. Think of it as “joint marketing.” Sometimes this involves cause marketing, sometimes special events or endorsements or community service initiatives or – whatever we invent next.
