We were founded in 1992 in Arlington, VA. We originally started in the UK in 1988
What is your primary product or service?
Strategy and change consultancy and coaching.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My background was mathematics and forecasting. Some of that is needed if anyone is to develop successful strategy. But then I realized that people are the key to good strategy, and not many like to change. So we developed models for understanding people as consumers, users, employees...
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Most of the work we do takes place in workshops or Master Mind Groups. In Master Mind Groups the members share problems, ideas, and develop solutions. Cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams can produce enormous synergy and energy. Others can operate to solve specific problems or issues of each member or organization. And they take a lot less time than conventional consultancy.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Just one location in Crystal City, although our consultants travel widely - for instance, last year to the UK, Italy, France, Bulgaria, Germany...
