How long have you been in business?
Continental Mortgage & Investment Corporation was incorporated in 1984. We are licensed to do business in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
What is your primary product or service?
We are a both a direct lender and mortgage broker. We specialize in conventional loans for any purchase, refinance, home equity or construction loans. Continental also has a diverse product line of FHA, VA, VA Jumbo and nonconforming jumbo loans. Our direct lending portfolio loan can operate outside institutional loans for consumer and commercial lending.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Everyone is interested in buying a home. We want to make sure you are educated and informed on your best choices rather than just offering you one product that may not be the best thing for your needs.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?

How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Continental has only our one office in Arlington. We pride ourselves on being local experts in DC, MD and VA.

Mark Walters is the President of Continental. Our Vice President, Joseph DiSalvo, runs the day to day mortgage operation.
