What is your primary product or service?
Five main products: Creative floral designs; Unusual flowers from worldwide sources; Elegant "silk" floral stems & permanent floral designs; Imaginative greeting cards and local Penna. chocolates, and unusual items in what The Washington Post calls Arlington's "quirky" gift-shop.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Wife had developed floral design business commercially relying on word-of-mouth among caterers; I "retired" early as CEO of national trade association to buy a retail flower shop for her to design flowers, and for me to have less-stress employment.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Top quality flowers and unusual giftware. Outstanding service with a smile with 11 employees in a truly mom-n-pop shop. The best prices available for top quality, but never discount selling. .We attract those who appreciate the best, floral designs custom-designed each time, enver the cookie-cuter flowers-by-formula. Always orignal, awlays unusual, always funto shop. . .
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
No plans to expand; our top-rated serivce exists primarily because "mom and pop" keep their close handw on the rudder.

We're at the corner of Lee Highway and North Pollard Street, opposite the historic Cherrydale Fire House, three blocks west of I-66 on Lee Highway/Rt. 29 (using I-66 toward town it's the second "Lee Highway" exit)..
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, all credit and debit cards, and with a credit card backup, we maintain House Accounts.
Which areas do you service?
Arlington, McLean, Great Falls (VA), Falls Church, Annandale, Alexandria; downtown & Spring Valley DC; Bethesda, Glen Echo, Great Falls (MD) Chevy Chase and Potomac, Maryland. We also have established close owrking relationships with trained florists in outer suburban areas to do our kind of work, so we can "wire" our orders with confidence to most anywhere in the US and major European cities.

What are your hours of operation?
9-6 every day but Sunday. "never on Sunday"
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
The Washington Post described our gift shop as "quirky" excellent. Arlington magazine devoted a three-page article to our shop. Esxcellent tasste, top quality, outstnading service.
